Administrative structure

The administrative structure of the board consists of two sectors under which different branches are functioning. There are 264 sanctioned posts out of which 240 have been filled and 24 are lying vacant.

Responsibilities

(1.) Conduct of Examination:

The primary and most important responsibility of the board is to conduct timely and transparent examinations and declare the results in a timely manner. By the grace and grace of Allah Almighty, the board has been able to fulfill this responsibility. Earlier, the board was conducting matric/intermediate/oriental languages examinations. But since 1993, the Education Department of Govt. Punjab (Controlling Authority) has put the responsibility of conducting OT/CT/PTC and Art and Craft examinations on the board. The board has conducted all the above mentioned examinations in a satisfactory and peaceful environment and the results are also announced on time.
